Food dehydrator for mainly jerky

I've made a lot of jerky in a dehydrator. All I had was a cheap one but it worked fine for several years until the heating element went out. That looks like a nice one.

I have a large dehydrator similar to what you are thinking about. Been used once or twice. Please take it and get some good out of it!

I'll post one of my favorite marinades in a bit.

Here is my Teriyaki recipe:

1 cup Japanese shoyu (soy sauce)
1/2 cup dark brown sugar
1 cup Mirin
1/2 cup Sake

Mix and reduce using medium heat. Stores in fridge well.

There are some good store bought teriyaki sauces but we prefer the homemade.
