Anyone heard anything around the state? It seems to me that much of the state has been under a hell of a recipe for disaster again.

I haven't heard anything, just wondering if anyone else has. I was down at my creek this morning and couldn't believe how low it was and how stagnate the little bit of water was. I couldn't help but think of the worse...

We have had some rains, but the ground sure soaked that up fast. I can't remember the last time the creeks raised. I also know that we've had a bit more rain than some of you other guys.

I almost hesitate to say and am knocking on wood as I say that I have not heard of or seen it around here. Sure hope not, but it's ripe for the picking right now.

It sure is... I never even thought about it until I seen the nasty water and how low it was. I have always had flowing water before...not today and it hasn't flowed in a while.

Does anyone make any kind of treatment for the water? From what all I e read, that's how it spreads is from the water. I don't have any real knowledge beyond that though. Not sure if it comes from the water itself or just the congregation of the deer.

It's mosquitoes and biting midges that infect the deer. They hang around stagnant pools of water.

I knew it had something to do with water. So if I treat if for skeeters, I should be good? If it's that easy, why don't people do this?

You can't go around treating every water hole in the whitetails area for skeeters, it just ain't feasible lol.
