The moon affects everything, including deer eating patterns.
If you set cams up in a natural feeding area you can see a pattern with the moon.
Once you start to change things like baiting, human activity, they will adapt to a different pattern,
Always remember the only prediction of a mature buck is he is unpredictable.

I try to hunt mornings following very dark nights or foggy nights with very limited visibility. Arent we supposed to hunt the first new moon in november ? And isnt this suppoed to dictate the rut some what? I have never paid that close attention to it, I typically try not to hunt the mornings after full moons or the night of. I know old timers that won't fish for walleye unless its a certain moon cycle, the wind is out of the south west and blah blah blah. My life is to busy to match all this perfect hunting and fishing condition stuff.
