I was just letting my dog and noticed a flea on her.... she is has flea protection on so I'm hoping she just picked that one up while we were outside today. I looked for half an hour and couldn't find another one.

Our cat had them once and it sucked big time. After that we always bought the flea medication and haven't had a problem since. She hasn't been very itchy so I'm hoping it was just the one. The only upside of fleas is your house gets cleaner than it ever has been.

Everyone's dogs/cats in our area have them this year. Even with treatment they are getting them.

Been a real bad year for bugs all over the board it seems. Between the sweet bees, fleas, and moths...I've about had it. I'm ready to light this mothafugger on fire!

Fleas are a pain in the ass. What flea preventative is she on? If it's frontline or frontline plus, switch to something else. Lots of fleas are becoming resistant to the active ingredient in frontline.

She is on pet armor plus. My wife has been using a flea comb on her for half an hour and I did too and only ever got that one. Really hoping it was one we picked up while we were outside.

If you haven't already, treat the area of the yard she hangs out in... May also help to alleviate the problem...

Yep, really. Frontline is not working like it used to. If you want something in topical form, go for K9 Advantix II. I give my dog Nexgard, which is a monthly chewable.

I have used Bravecto on Shorty for fleas, down side is you have TOO get it at the Vets and they will not just sell it TOO you without at least seeing your pet for the first time. Works great on him, once a month, chewable.

I missed this earlier. Pet Armor Plus is the same active ingredient as Frontline Plus I believe. Get rid of that junk, man. K9 Advantix II, or Bravecto, or Nexgard.
