How do I declare war on these fuggers?! Do the have hives I can blow up? I've never seen them this bad in my life and need to get them under control.

Yup, someone has to know a way to get rid of them. That wasn't right at all. The damn tennis racket bug zapper took out a couple hundred, but it didn't do much besides give us hope.

Lol, When Ron and I were just onry little shits, whenever one of us spotted one on the other ones arm or back, a finger was lightly pressed down onto the little vermin till it stung the other and left that tell tale welt.....:smiley_coolpeace:

I have no idea Dave! I figure they live underground like the Yellowjackets do.

Only thing I can think of is that they mowed the horse pasture yesterday and it stirred them all up. It was pretty rough until the sun settled behind the trees in the evening.

I have one. field where they are always bad. The neighbor's woods along the east side is a little swampy. I've tried in the past spraying insecticide into the woods but it's doesn't help.

We have never had a problem before. Talking with a couple of guys at work today and they said they have them real bad also! We all live within a few miles of each other. Did we have a perfect year for them? Did we loose a bird population that used to eat them? All wonders I have...wondering enough that I might contact fish and goose to ask some questions.

You know what else I need to deal with?! Fucking coyotes! We hardly ever hear them at my house...broad daylight the neighbor kids were screaming and it sounded like a bunch of coyote pups answered them. Weird thing that happened, I've never heard of anything it before. And they were close, close enough I know they heard us laughing and fucking around. And they still sounded off! I don't like the idea of them not being scared of humans... I don't get along with the neighbor farmer, but I think it's time we talk again.
