Does anyone have experience with downloading maps from computer to GPS? I found a website called gpsfiledepot.com with free maps.

If it's a Garmen, good luck. I'm pretty sure they have it locked up like Apple products.

It's a Garmin, fuckers want around $100 for the topo maps that include Missouri. I'm not spending that when we are only going to be out there for 4 days.

Have you checked with their DNR to see if they have maps of the area you're hunting?

You can download apps that will let you cache maps to use offline. Your GPS will still work without service.

I know you can cache maps with Google maps, but I'm sure there are better options out there.

Check out Backcountry Navigator. They have a free and paid version with topos.
