Plotspike Clover

I just gotta say, I threw down 8 pounds of Plotspike clover, and a bottle of Daikon radish, in Coshocton County last fall after only spraying and discing one of my fields, no fertilizer or lime.

It came up great! Deer hammered it and ate it to the ground!

As far as I could see from shopping around online and in stores, this stuff is the least expensive per pound for a clover mix(bags are 4 pounds for $14 @ tractor supply). I don't know how much better the Imperial or Antler King stuff could be for twice the price. Maybe if comes up stronger as a perennial?

Just frost seeded with another 8 pounds, and I can only imagine it's going to be even better this spring for turkey season and well into summer.

Just my $.02 on clover for those that plant it.
