For some reason my right arm keeps jerking and my left hand is making this reeling motion...

I also think that with this mild winter, the springs runs might be a little ahead of schedule this year. Warmer water...

I'm looking forward to the jig bite on the reefs , some trolling , some casting mayfly rigs , and then probably a little more trolling . Be nice to get a couple good perch trips in .

I hit the maumee yesterday, I knew the chances were very slim but I tried. Nothing to show for my efforts but....... It felt good to get the line wet.

Only been to the maumee run one time , and the amount of people made it less than enjoyable for me . I'm looking forward to getting out on the lake soon tho .

I've been trout fishing a handful of times in the last month to help cure my boredom tho.

There's a stream near Wooster that trout unlimited has stocked for awhile. Its catch and release but its fun to take my son down there for a quick trip occasionally . A lot of Orvis fly rod elitests there , but its only about 10 minutes from my house . Its usually good for a few trout , and the are generally decent sized ....15-22 rainbows , occasionally catch smallmouth also .
