Where to eat?

The real Amish country
I like me some good food. Because of this we don't go out very often. On days like today, my wife shouldn't have to cook. So I will be taking her out for lunch and dinner today. Not a lot to chose from in our area, so we travel 30 minutes to eat good food. If anyone is ever in the Washington Courthouse area and hungry...

#1 choice is Rusty Keg
#2 choice is Pour Boys

When I go to NW Ohio up by where I grew up, I enjoy Ray and Jets. It's in Genoa and might just be called Rays now.

These are places I would consider affordable also. Places we can take the kids and not need a loan.

Wooster: guerne heights (greasy spoon), spoon deli (amazing sandwiches), city square (steak!)

So what's good in other areas? The point of this is to find more places to eat.

BTW, Rusty Keg is closed on Sunday's... Enjoying a "Pour Boy" beer waiting on the best franks in the land. Seriously, they are that good they are worth ordering when going out. They have killer smoked meats also.

Ohooooooooo, I didn't read it that way, my bad! Lol

Ain't no place cheap anymore! Especially with a family of 4! By the time you figure in a 18-20% tip it's like feeding a family of 5! Lol
We don't go out to eat much anymore because of the cost but when we do it's usually a steakhouse like Longhorn,Texas Roadhouse,Ruby Tuesdays,Outback or O'Charlies. I'm happy with a burger,fries and a 20-22 oz beer these days but that's around $13-$15 just for that! Lol
Our go to place near Montgomery Rd and Fields Ertel Rd. Intersection is a place called Toot's. It's just a local sports bar with great hot wings,frog legs,raw oysters and fried pickles and such and Kids under 12 eat free. Those were the good ole days! We use a coupon out of the monthly magazine(by one entree get one free) and hit the town! Lol their ribs are good too!

Ric....you are missing one of my personal thoughts. FUCK chain places. If I wanted a every day burger I would reach in my freezer. Any if these franchise places are so sold out that you can go to Walmart and buy a box of their best selling items.

What's the name of the place near Montgomery road? It seems like the kind of place in talking about.

if in the jackson area try arch and eddies, we eat there on a regular basis, rib eye,s are awesome, burgers are also good , oh hell i love food it;s all good, and sex, beer, hunting, fishing, oh my bad u ask where to eat

Wooster ...Guerne Heights is a stop...I like their breakfast. Hero House for philly sub's , Osaka is good sushi , hibachi , and chinese . City Square is a upper scale place with great steak . El campesino is dang good Mexican ...Try the campesino fajita quesedilla ...with a draft Negro modelo to wash it down .

A few places I miss from the Dayton area are Kai sushi cafe , Dublin pub , and South Park Pizza ( great beer selection too ) , and Sweeny's seafood .

Miscellaneous places
Waynesburg ....Kurt's restaurant
Dover ...............Hog Heaven
Stongsville .......The brew Kettle ...( great beer too )
