Anyone ever had one that was warm when you opened the door? Without it running of coarse.

I just opened my microwave and it was warm inside. No one has been home for hours... Said something to my wife and she said she noticed it yesterday. Couldn't find anything online searching. Kinda weird and I'm not sure if I should unplug it or what.

Yes. Unplug it. I don't have a clue why it would be warm. Always better to err on the side of caution though. You have a family to keep safe brother.

Is it an under Cabinet mount with a light that lights up the counter top?

If we leave our light on it gets warm inside. Other then that it shouldn't get hot just sitting there.

I lied, I plugged it back in and the light was on. Thanks man, I didn't even know it had a light. I hope that works!

I hope that was the issue. Like I said, ours will get warm enough to melt a bowl of butter if we leave that light on too long. Keep an eye on it and let us know buddy.

Why would I need a microwave in the garage?

Just in case you have ADD like me. Go out there and start working on something, get hungry and go in and make something to eat or get coffee. Go back out with your food and or drink and get to thinking about something you could do on the project and go do it before you forget. Then your food or drink gets cold. Just zap it in the microwave instead of going all the way back inside lmao.

Or for the reason J said lol.

Ordered one this morning...expensive things! I told my wife I get a new TV with proof of purchase.

I like those new bow front designed ones. The technology of them would way out perform my satellite though...not sure if the money would be worth cutting the glare from watching TV from the kitchen.
