Ok...rant time....

I served the great country of The United States of America! This new stupid fucking "Murica" bullshit is annoying as fuck!!!! Learn how to spell and have the pride to write/say AMERICA!!!!! If there's one thing we are good at as Americans, it's looking stupid... Can't even spell or pronounce our own countries name anymore!

Rant over. Not calling you out man, I've seen it on here many of times before. It just struck me this time a little harder than normal.

I'm not sure how you've missed it Frank? It's everywhere! And when people say it, they look like they are trying to pinch one off... Stupid as hell in my book.

While I try to limit my support of anti-gun establishments, it is not always possible or in my best personal interest. The place I work, I cannot carry a gun, but I still work there. Some of the places I eat, I cannot carry a gun, but I still eat there. Some of the places I shop, I cannot carry a gun, but I still shop there.

I fully support anyone choosing to decline to patronize establishments/companies/services because of their beliefs, but with 1 brother in SC and another in NH, I will keep facebook as it is a great communication vehicle. Not just for immediate family, but for friends I have made throughout the years that are not within driving distance.

I have to imagine your hole is only getting smaller and smaller Frank. I can't imagine limiting myself or my family to only deal with pro-gun companies, etc., I wouldn't be able to do or go anywhere.

My small hole is big enough for me to get by just fine. I don't eat, shop at any business that has a no firearm sign on the door. Ever hear of emails for family, friend contacts? I works just fine for me.
Maybe my idea of Facebook bring for people who can't quit figure it out is rather strong.
I'm done and out of this one. I got my loyality to my beliefs and everyone else can have theirs.

This.

When I was working at Sherwin-Williams, I had a lady come in one night looking for wallpaper and wallpaper paste. All that mattered was that it was made in America. She ordered $500 worth of wallpaper, then cancelled it after I couldn't prove to her that our wallpaper paste was Made in America. She left in a frenzy and I though to myself: "How miserable would my day be if I couldn't get something a menial as wallpaper paste without proving it was Made in America." Life is about choices. I choose to simplify my life whenever possible...

Frank, I only said I imagine limits are getting tighter and tighter. I have no cares for the size of your hole and it's not for me to judge how it fits your beliefs, not looking to argue. Facebook is simply following the path of many other routes. It does suck and I will sign a petition such as Beener posted but you asked in your OP to think this over. I have, I have expressed my thoughts here and I hope we can continue to discuss these beliefs, how far people take them, and what can we do as a community to change laws for the better.

I don't quit going to McDonalds because they don't carry the McRib anymore, I won't get off of Facebook because they no longer allow private gun sales. I will get off Facebook if I spend too much time on there or if I disconnect for a month. I have found that disconnecting (this site included) every once in a while really helps. Between reading forums, facebook, and online news, it's too much and puts your head into a spin. That's for another conversation though.

One last point I did stop eating at McDonalds because of their gun beliefs.
