I drove through the worst rain I've ever seen this evening. Tried to hunt this morning as a big storm rolled in too... What in thee hell is going on?! We hit 64* today!!!

Did the Sandman and Mother Nature switch spots?

I'm feeling for those who had a lot worse day then we did though. Just seen on the news that 6 lost their lives today in tornados. Brings a tear to my eyes...that's terrible.

The storm roared through here and got some heavy rain but no damage. Muddy as hell out there feeding the cattle.

Had no clue guys. It was windy last night but nothing seemed unusual,

Other than the fact that it was thunderstorming in December.

I stand corrected, the winter storm watch starts tonight (26th) through Monday. Sunday night is suppose to be 18 degrees and dip sh*t me did not bring any cold weather clothes, no hoodie, no jacket, no nothing. When I packed I figured hey this is TX it's going to be warm the entire time I am here. Fugggggggggggg.

Went next door to a small department store and got a hoodie. Kept me pretty warm last night. Tonight it is suppose to be drop to 10 degree in Kermit, TX. I had to stay over 1.25 hours this morning waiting on my relief due to the Weather. I just got out of there and my CO. put a driving ban on us so we are not allowed to be on the roads driving to the Rig. Day time logger will have to work a double ( 24 hours, today and tonight ) and I will go in tomorrow and work a double. This is freaking Texas, not Ohio!!!! Damn the weather is much better back home, WTF!!!!

I wish you had it back home I did not have it hear. Sucks not working tonight and having to pull a 24 hour day tomorrow, that is if they let us drive. Otherwise it will be a 36 hour shift if it is tomorrow evening. Uggggg. Can't complain though, I am working and will make the hours up.

Well fuggggg, the driving ban is still on for us at work and now I know why. Thought I would "scope out" the roads to see if I could make it..............not a good idea, lol. Turned down Rt. 115 and thought this is not so bad, got a mile down the road and it was blocked off "Road Closed" so I go TOO turn around and got stuck for about a minute. Started driving back and the snow in that lane got deeper and deeper and I bottomed out the rental car and got stuck!! Freaking 5 or 6 trucks pass me and never offered to give me a push, some of the fuggers stopped and asked if the road was closed and I said yea and they just turned around and never offered to help. Freaking Texas Homo's!!!!! Anyway I kept going back and fourth, got it backed up a few feet got out and kicked the snow / ice away from the middle of the lane and finally got going after 45 minutes. Back at the hotel still on a driving ban.
