So the answer remained elusive. Then, in 1995, retiree George Winters told me he’d been present at the Hole in the Horn buck’s recovery. He said he’d helped pull the buck from under the fence — and that a stiff fence wire was sticking through that hole. He was sure it had done the damage.

Apparently he had their stories mixed up???

Anybody else remember that it was a panel member from Missouri that spearheaded the move to rescore the deer which in fact lowered the score below the Missouri Monarchs 333& change score?

IMO, the HITH buck kicks the ass of the MM buck in EVERY way imaginable including water displacement,weight,frame size and total inches! Plus if they were both standing next to each other every swinging dick toting a weapon would prolly shoot the HITH buck including the asshat who pushed to lower his score...rotflmao
