I haven't been on here much, so I may have missed the thread somewhere but did anyone else get the new survey in the mail? I got mine two weeks ago and mailed it in. Questions that were expected, acorn crop, deer population, hunter satisfaction. New questions that surprised me, hunter population, all the buck only questions on public land. Also surprised there wasn't any questions on baiting..what is everyones opinion on the public land buck only deal?

I'd like 2 years or more of 4 points one side, Statewide.

That's what my neighborhood practices and we're seeing some improvement.

Like you said, I thought it was as expected. The public land management concept makes sense. At least from the public land that I have experience hunting. They should be managed differently, but will the state have the resources to do so?

When I started, opening day either a buck or doe and then after that buck only.... If they went too that I'd lean towards what Ben has posted.... Not sure about the four on one side, but something in that ball park....
