My shoulder buck mount is due to be done within a month. For the past month I've been on the lookout for ideas for pedestal mounts since wall space has become scarce in my houses foyer. I almost decided to buy a Mckenzie Fence post that supports a shoulder mount but I wasn't a fan of the fact is was artificial. I had access to some old barn wood, fence posts, barbed wire and pallets so I decided to make one myself. I looked through google at similar designs. Pretty happy how it turned out.
I texted pictures to JD and he wanted me to make him one. Since I'm waiting for snow to fall, I have some time, so if anyone was interested in a similar design I'd be willing to build them for around 195$ a piece. I told Joe I would donate 5$ per one to help support the website.
I'd also make some back boards out of barn wood or old pallets. I made one for my picture assortments of my buck in 2013.
