It's great to be able to take deer during gun season that are acting natural. This is the same field that I've had excellent encounters, but couldn't do my part with my longbow.
The BB was taken at 40 yards and the doe at a confirmed 275 yards about an hour later! I took the time to plot the field vs. my load ballistics and in turn, made a perfect kill shot.
