That makes me so happy????

I snagged this knife out of the Cabela's bargain cave.

I got the email while at work early this morning that it was delivered today, so I have been looking forward to getting home and checking it out. Upon first glance, it seems like a decent knife. Obviously not one of those high-dollar knives that you can get, but not bad for a knife I paid $25 out the door for. The holster is pretty nice too, fits snugly, pulls cleanly. Nice little self defense...cough...er...ah...cough...utility knife. ;)

Nice! Are those assissted opening? My normal "pocket duty" knife is this Kershaw Blur. I have been a big fan of them too.

No, theyre both just regular folding knives. The Jeep knife has glass breaker (knub on back) and seat belt cutter (looks like gut hook).

Any idea on what that Jeep one runs Mound? That would be a nice knife to have in the bunkers at the department.

Can anybody tell me what the big deal is about serrated edges?
I don't like 'em.
Tell me one use or advantage - 'cause I don't see it.

There is a time and place for em Dan.
serrations track the material into the blade better... start w/ a hunk of rope.

My other weakness. I have at least 50 knives. My EDC knife is a SOG Flash II. Assisted opening with a half-serrated blade that is super fast and strong. I like half serrated blades for cutting everything. Takes a while to get through rope, wire, etc with a straight blade. Old Cases, SOG, Kershaw, and Buck are some of my favorites. I need to get the family together for a pic. For the money it is hard to beat a Gerber. Here is a pic of my EDC.
