Nope Non Of them Live In NW Ohio

Well I hadn't ever seen one

Well that is a Bob Cat
This afternoon I was hunting one of the Trust farms
Just before sunset I heard something and then saw a rabbit run past my stand

A min later I saw a Bob Cat sneaking along the same trail the rabbit had just run down

It was only ...45 yards away and moving slow
But I had more than enough time to watch it for 20 or so yards before it turned a corner on the trail

I was hunting on a Lime Stone ridge that runs for several miles and most of it is thick and overgrown
So I guess a good place for it to hunt

The next time we get a SE wind , I will check the trail camera I have there
Not real close ....but I might be lucky and have a picture of it

I am glad to see at least 1 of them has moved into this area
And My guess , there are probely more that we never see

Oh well I only saw a small 6 point this afternoon
But seeing the Bob Cat made the whole hunt worth it

Sounds like a real cool encounter! I've never seen one in the wild. I thought I might of seen one in Athens last year, but I never got a real good look at it to say for sure. What I seen could of very well been Bob's cat.

We have a lot of them in KY. I killed 3 last year with my Bow.. Trust me you want as little as possible to move in the area. They are worse than a Yote on small Game.
