I am vacationing in Massachusetts this week so I decided to look up how they do their pheasant releases. They release a total of 40,000 pheasant and depending on the area could release them every day of the week! Now why can't Ohio do something like this and stock more birds.

It's a much bigger state and not everyone would be happy with where they release the birds! It would be interesting to know how many birds actually get released in Ohio...
It would be nice if they spent a little to recover some habitat. I hate seeing all the fence rows being removed for that extra crop row.
Me too. I think we have plenty of interest here but all odnr seems to care about are deer and turkey.
