So the kids are off school for a week and the weather is a bit hot for me and mixed with rain. So I'm trying to figure out what to do with these crazy ass kids. Ages 5, 8, &10.

I live in SW Ohio but don't mind traveling around a few hours. We also have family in the Toledo area if we need to pull an overnight trip. Preferably inside activities...

We have been trying to do the great wolf lodge for a couple years. I think we have done all the outdoor water parks from Toledo to Cincinnati. Looking for something new. We have done all the major zoos also. (I took 3 years off work and spent it with the family when we moved here. This will be the last week we all have off together.)

Save your money and time and take them to Kalahari instead...at their age they will get bored with how small Great Wolf lodge is...Plus, they (Kalahari) have a wave pool, which for some reason, can keeps interested for hours or even the whole day.

Starting out at Dakota's for some quick grub. Then we are going to go to Paint Creek to do some trail walking for today. We will see what tomorrow brings. Wife has school, so it should be interesting...lol.

We ended up doing to The Great Wolf Lodge in Cincy. It was by far the best thing we've done as a family possibly ever. With school being in session for most everyone else we basically had the place to our selves. I would highly recommend this to anyone with younger kids. They really do a good job with kids and keeping them entertained. Between the different water things, mini golf, arcade, spa, face painting, balloon animals, story time, and many other little crafty type things, it was money well spent in my book.

Glad you had a good time. We took our kids there for a couple days after Christmas a few years back. Nicely decorated, kids loved it.

If you liked that then your kids would love Kalahari, Their is a lot more outside activities to do there so if you go sometime try and go when its going to be nice outside.
