I got my latest project up and running fairly well.
3 Dillon 1050 presses with conversion motors to trim 223 brass. We use Bosch 2.25 HP router motors with a conversion to mount in the press die threads. The Dillon trimmers are not air cooled like the Bosch router motor is. We burned up 2 Dillon trimmers. The Bosch router and conversion unit is actually a little cheaper to buy than the Dillon trimmer and we use double ended 1/2" carbide end mills instead of the little Dillon carbide chips.
The conversions run 1200 per hour. But it's just a hope and wish to get that many as something is always jamming on the used brass.
Next I will built a control panel with 3 plugs and 3 switches so each press has a quick shutoff.
