Think it was the ScoutLook Deer Log I tried using several times to log my stand sites and it would lock up all the time. It would just sit there and I'd have to close out of it without it saving my locations. Perhaps it was just because of our location IDK. Maybe it's gotten better?

I've noticed that my battery life sucks when it gets cold. I always try to wear a shirt with a zipping chest pocket to keep my phone warm.

My old I-phone I rarely could last all day with it even in a pocket with a handwarmer going next to it. If I took a picture or two watch out, it would die soon after. This will be my first year with the new phone I've got so hopefully I don't have much of a problem. Planning to get one or two of those quick chargers to have in my pack this year too.

That's a good idea.

I wish they'd come out with a GPS style app for property lines and such. With contact info attached, or available at a charge or something. That sure would make finding property owners a lot easier when tracking deer, setting stands, or whatever else.

I use the weather app intellicast for surface wind. And switch back and for between google earth and trimble outdoors for everything else. I like trimble a lot, but it eats up the battery. I like the idea behind the mobile charger, never thought of that before.

This is the surface wind on it also. As you zoom in it gets pretty much everything.

There is one that will mark and list property boundaries and landowners names but I can't think of it off the top of my head.
