Rattlesnake Death in Pennsylvania

I asked our EHS team for snake chap since I work in counties in WV with known rattlesnake populations. I don't worry about them over home just yet, but they seem be expanding.

I don't worry about it in central ohio and we have swampy bog spots that contain rattlers. I grew up in Mississippi with snakes as thick as thieves so they don't bother me much.

On Monday, my daughter had a pygmy rattler strike at her as she was catching lizards in south Florida. I doubt the bite would have been lethal, but it wouldn't have been pleasant either.
