How would you deal with this?

So my brother is 20 years old and hangs out with a group of kids I use to be friends with but a couple years ago I stopped hanging out with them because they are just going no where in life. Well he was hanging out at one of the kids boat dock and he slept there. When he woke up all of his tires were flat, and they took his license plates. Its not a crap car either it's a 2011 VW CC that looks like new. He called me and I came and helped him out this morning and I asked him who did it, he said when he woke up 2 of the kids that said they were sleeping there left and they are the trouble makers and always have been. I am assuming it was them and my brother said don't worry about it but I'm about done with there stuff. What would you do in this situation.

Move away... You can't stop people like that. Getting even just brings you down to the wrong level. I found myself making these battles when I was around that age and ended up joining the Air Force and never looking back. They all still do the same stupid shit in the same stupid little town. I made something of myself.

Did they just let the air out of the tires or did they puncture them? My reaction would be based on if there was any damage or money loss.

Why would they do this in your opinion? Why take his lic. plates? Do they not like you or your brother?

I'd be pissed as hell! Any retaliation these days could lead to much worse repercussions though. I'd severe any ties with these POS's from here on out though! They sound like bad news and will prolly be stealing to support their drug dependency if they aren't already doing so!

Took the valve stems out so you couldn't even put air back in. Thank goodness I had 4 at home and a valve stem tool to put them back in. I just can't fathom how you can call someone your friend/friends and they do this to you.

They do it all the time, to random people, to some of the teachers at our old school. I would have no doubt they keep one in there car.

Well he said he didn't do anything to instigate it and I believe him. Just seems odd.

That is the sad reality now is that everything goes way to far. I told him he needs new friends and he said to stay the F out of his business so whatever. The problem is the kids he hangs out with just do drugs, pot and pills, and drink uncontrollably so it's just a recipe for disaster. Its just hard to have to sit back and have him learn the hard way
