What grain arrow and poundage is everyone shooting ? Including broadhead. Currently shooting 275 grain maxima hunter arrows and 100 grain broad head making it 375. Using my 2009 Parker Blackhawk ez draw @ 70 pounds. Wondering if I should go ahead and use a 125 grain broad head? (Whitetail hunting obviously).

I'm shooting a 29 inch, 418g Easton Injexion at 250fps out of my Hoyt Max is 35 set at 29inch draw. Haven't calculated the FOC but it's probably high cause these arrows hit the bag hard and penetrate deeper than my Maxima Reds ever did. I think your arrow set up is fine and should have no problem laying down deer

I'm shooting Easton ST Excel 300's with 150 grain Magnus Stingers up front. 10.0 gpi and I think my shafts are like 30"... so 300 grains, plus the 150 grain BH, insert, nock, blazers... I think my total arrow weight is around 495 or 498 grains if my memory is correct. 29.5" draw length and 63# draw weight. They aren't near as fast as my Easton Flatlines but man they hit like a fuggin freight train.

How is the MR8 ? Always wanted one because it's one of the bows with a long draw length option as my draw length is 32 inches lol

They are short arrows. My broadhead is 1/2" in front of my rest.

200 grains total. 150 gr broadhead and 50 gr insert.
