Prayers for my wife .....

Ok, I never thought I'd be asking this. I'm taking my wife over to Westerville this afternoon to have a bad looking mole removed. It's pre melanoma & I really don't know what the prognosis is going to be at this time. If all goes well, I'm gonna ask the dr to cut a bit of her attitude out while her tools are handy :) In all seriousness though, deep down, I am scared.

Both of you are in my prayers. I'm just around the corner if you need ANYTHING. Anything at all, give me a holler.

Kevin - You and your wife will be in my prayers.
I went through a similar situation a few years ago. Mine was Melanoma and was caught in the early stages and was removed completely without any further treatments necessary except regular checkups. It sounds like hers was caught early as well I am hoping that is the case.
I know how scary it is and too be honest it seemed to me that the Dr.'s don't really tell you much unless you specifically ask. I learned that asking was better than me not knowing what was going on.

Thanks very much everyone. She's in having this procedure now & the nurse just kicked me out. The way the Dr explained this was to a relief, so at this present stage, it's no biggie. Just the same it needs to be delt with of course. The healing process will be lengthy for her. It's a big load off our shoulders for what he described. Thanks again !

Thanks again. I shit thee not, as soon as I got done posting my last comment, she walked out into the lobby. Had I known that, I would have held her down at home & used my Gerber to cut that out. I would have saved gas money & time.... Just the same, we still have to wait on the biopsy report to come back to be certain things look good, or she'll have to go back.

I wrote out a big long reply about my experience, and ended up deleting it all. I have gone through this procedure before, it wasn't bad at all. Good luck, I hope the best for you all.

yep I am a younger dude, I had cancerous mole cut off my back. It sucked cause it left a scar but I was running a chainsaw that afternoon. It wasn't too bad.
