Am I wrong?

So I was at the property last week. Had a great time. We butt up to an 800 acre clear it that some guys lease. They post the property which I don't mind.

Long story short they have posted a property line that butts up next to my place. This is way down in a bottom that's a bitch to get too. I think they posted it cause at one spot I hope a fence to cross a creek then I'm right back onto my place. If you're familiar with se Ohio terrain you can understand how a creek can make a property line similar to this.

I am fairly upset they posted right on my line almost on my face type deal. Should I let this upset me? Am I in the wrong?

If you had been with me the day I found out some dickhole leased the farm north of us, then put a posted sign on every tree along the fence line (which is not the property line) you would know the kind of reaction you should have! lmao

IMO, they are assholes for posting it without making an attempt to speak to you first. Keep hoping the fence to get where you are going. If they catch you, tell them to find a knot in the nearest tree and get balls deep in it.

This is how I feel. I've been hunting this ground a lot longer than them. Never hunted over there when I know I could clause no one is ever there. I hunt on my own property it's just a funnel due to terrain and I'm not right on the line. I called a guy who manages the land or some bullshit. I played nice but told him I don't want to ruin a relationship over a property line. However I also think it's bs yall are busting my balls over a creek crossing. Btw if we want to talk lines they were standing on my side of the tree to post that sign jack.

Ugh I get heated. Haha. I respect lines but to not drop a note in my box or cal me I think is bs. I'm still awaiting a call back......

Idiots not knowing how too be a neighbor.... Too much of that shit going on these days..... Ruining the damn sport.....

Knit picking property lines is a joke. I wouldn't sweat it, and I were you, I'd cross where you always crossed. Most deeds read X amount of acres more or less. I know my deed reads 9.8 acres more or less. The true property lines in most cases isn't even known by the landowners. That being said, how would the person leasing know where they are.

started off guy tried to tell me how it was going to go down, tempers flared I told him how it rolls in my area. He backed down, and ended up being a nice guy.

So these assbags don't even live in the area and are getting on bad terms with the locals…chunks of deodorant… I'm not normally all about getting even, but come on. I'd be launching it out of a potato gun.

I'm picturing the BBQ sauce commercial where they are sitting around a campfire and the guy looks at the bottle and says "New York City?!"

I'd have the same reaction as Jesse when it comes to that extent. Glad you got it worked out with them though and hopefully they realize that some day they may need your help whether it's a deer that made it's way onto your place or a vehicle that is broke down. That is the one thing I am learning to accept when it comes to our place down there. We have a neighbor that's to the West of my dad's portion that recently put up No Trespassing signs before this past season. Not sure why as we never go on their place and have talked with them in the past about tracking deer onto each others. The only thing I can think of is a couple years ago the farmer that farms their place and ours put a cut through a thicket just to the N of those signs so he could go from their fields into ours. This summer my buddy put up gates for us, the only reason was because that cut really changed the deer movement through the thicket which was once our best stand site on the entire property.
