I bought these this winter but just now took advantage of a warm day and put the spores in some logs. Its really pretty simple to do. I just hope they turn out as good as most people say the do.

The first pics are of a the trees that I bored the holes in.One was a ash and the other a small white oak that was in the woods edge at my parents.

The other two pics are the plugs being inserted in the holes and the other is where I had to seal them with bees wax. It was really simple to do.Find some hardwood logs bore some holes put in the dowel rods with the spores on them and seal them. The hard part is going to be the waiting 6 months to see how they turn out.

I thought this was a joke. I had to go searching to see if these were real, lol. Seems interesting to see how it turns out. Funny name though...
