Water/ice situation

I was wondering what the news is on the ice situation in NW Ohio. Is there shoreline areas accessible now to fishing or is there still a bit of a wait due to ice jams, ice cover, etc.? The waters in question for me are Maumee Bay, Swan Creek, and the Maumee River, but I suppose the Sandusky River, Sandusky Bay, and the Portage River can also come into play. Any information would be much appreciated.

This is the time the rivers change. With all the debris floating/carving/bashing and the mud...I wouldn't waste my time or gear until it clears up a bit.

This time of year it's plenty dangerous boating, between ice and water temps.....

Surprised the VFD didn't have an air hovercraft.... They do for the Ohio river over here.....

The Maumee River access points were hit hard. Buttonwood and Sidecut will remain closed until further notice.

I honestly would do anything to have some steady 50s or even 60 degree temps for a few days straight. Instead we get 50 then 40 and last I heard mid-30s for highs on Sunday.
