Phil has inspired me to start this. This thread will serve as a tool to help other TOO members that have problems with their ol lady's complaining about TOO many mounts and other outdoor related items on the walls. My woman told me she didn't want any yote pelts in the house because they remind her of dogs, I know have 2 in the house. She got over it. I am slowly redecorating the place, the fact that the redecoration happens slower than a normal one means that I have the house completely taken over before she realizes it.

Everyone post your pics and problems and we'll see if we can help each other out. My woman is pretty good about my mounts and furs, she even offered to move some of her stuff so I can fit mine LOL. Some of you may not be as fortunate, let's work together and overcome that.:D

Mine are spread all over the house. Going to be making the basement a man cave when I get this years buck back. My wife has an issue with eyes for some reason.

Got a couple coyotes pelts in the basement and a few moose antlers out in the flower beds out front. I've also got a Salmon in the freezer, buffalo at my parents, and a few other fish up at their house.

I'm taking the easy way out and doing a man cave in my polebarn. I'll have it decorated this summer.

Some of mine are going to have too be moved upstairs. 7 deer, 2 turkey fans, 1 black bear rug, three tube tans of fox, coyote, and a all black coon, two fish, a grey fox mount and a fox and coyote coming there is no more room in the living room. And I'm sure it will be some time before I get a man cave added on. So until then they are just going to have too be hidden upstairs in the boys room. The fiancee is great with them. She is starting too think its getting cluttered up though lol. And she is right it is.

I have 16 deer, coyote upstairs in my man cave and it has now spilled out into the family room downstairs. I have 5 deer in the family room, I'll post some pics as soon as I take some.

The first room you walk into when you enter my house is "The deerhead room" as everyone calls it. I currently have 8 shoulder mounts, a Perch mount, a deer rug, and 3 skull mounts on the floor, with my 9th shoulder mount nearly finished. My wife keeps insisting that once Im out of space, im shit outta luck. I know better than that, but to avoid arguments, I am taking the backboards off the 4 that have them and putting standard McKenzie wall hangers on the back. That should help me squeeze in a couple more. In 2 years my bow will be bowhunting, so they are gonna spill over somewhere. Not to mention when my Dad passes, he wants me to take all 6 of his shoulder mounts. Hell with it, I may need to build on:smiley_crocodile:

My place is like Ryan's, when you walk in to our basement (main door we use) you see all my goods. We have some rustic stuff upstairs and Max 4 comforter on our bed, but I keep all my stuff in the man room. However I'm out of space and have the perfect spot upstairs for two mounts. Before we move, there will be deer up there!

Excellent stuff guys. Chad, that was my first buck and someone shot that side off and put a tear in his ear.
