I think there was a lot more fur sitting at NAFA then what we were told. I looked at this last sale book and there was one lot of 2200 eastern yotes that sold for $6 each that was offered last year and were bought back (don't know what they would have brought but I bet it was more than $6).
If I had any nice coon I would put them in the freezer for sure
Yep....the guy that buys our fur has 600 coon sitting there not moving..he isn't even wanting to buy them.
Wish we could get that much for our yotes but like Gern said, lucky to get 10 bucks for one. Sold some last year for 4 to 8 bucks. I just like em dead hardly worth skinning the stinkin things for that.

My uncle went and sold some of our yotes tonight along with some deer hides, coons, and a few mink. Haven't heard how prices were yet.
Those $100 hides are most likely western coyotes. You won't see that kind of money for most eastern yotes. Probably less than half that much.
