Trick to bringing back yellow-old-dingy-headlights

Most of these will not last but a few weeks to a couple of months. The best one I have seen is to wet sand the plastic lens then put a light coat of lacquer, urethane or shellac on.

Kids tried that. It lasted about as long as the other stuff. Kit was sold at most auto parts stores. Must be lack of UV filters in the plastic.

Tried one of the kits on one of our trucks. Six applications over two days. Not much difference. Might try the bug spray. Not out anything if it doesn't work.

Might not have gotten the right stuff. Mine didn't come with a brush for the end of the drill.
