Found a dead deer that had been eaten on. We set 2 snares to just play around with it. On the second day we had a coyote get the wooden stake out and disappear on us. Just a few days later, I found this in one of the snares.

Braydon wants it tanned for his room.

Got our first Coyote today. Descent sized male but he had what looked like mange on his legs. He was introduced to Mr. Pellet Gun. One shot one kill.

Getting a picture of a doe wearing a snare on my trail cam freaked me out a bit but I think I may try a couple this year and just try to place them in areas deer are unlikely to go. I will have to start doing some research.

Here's a dumb question, if that was mange is there any worries about skinning that out with having your own dogs around? I know absolutely nothing about it.

To be honest I know very little about it because I won't mess with it. One hide is not worth the gamble.
