Been slow to get the traps out. I only have 5 DP's and a live trap. Set a live trap and a DP yesterday afternoon and caught a XXXL. I'll set the rest of my DPs tomorrow. Got a major coon problem at our land and I'm going to thin these bastards out. He's already skinned and on a stretcher. Still waiting on some snow so I can figure out where the yotes move at the in laws.

One big coon and a grinner. Size 15 boot for comparison.

Did they get the hammer? :smiley_crocodile:

Good stuff, man. Glad you're catching stuff and hopefully the yote pictures will start coming soon.

Yep, hammered both of them. I'll be getting the snares out soon. I'd like to catch more than 2 yotes this year, should be able to, I learned a lot last year.

NWOhio!
I have a broken wooden rake handle that still has the metal collar at the bottom...I had to whack a ground hog in my backyard because my 3 year old found it before I did and it wouldn't leave my yard...one tap is all it took...the thing is light enough to carry around and swing quickly...just a thought.
