They lost a step a few years ago, but I have heard that their quality has improved a lot the last couple years. They were getting smoked by Mathews and hoyt and had to make a better product to keep up. I don't own one, but my son came close to buying an agenda. I shot it a couple times and liked it.

A Bear bow was my 1st cam bow. It shot good and I gave it to my grandson. My son has shot one for years and still has it even though he picked up a used Mathews.
Setting up at gunshows is a great place to pick up used bows and ML's on the cheap after season is over.

You'll find a lot of bias comes from people that don't have experience with a bear bow. I've had a Showdown for a few years now and have had zero problems with it.

It shoots fast, accurate and it kills deer. I'm not sure how much more you can ask for. And it was cheap to buy used.
