Are you allowed to take your own weapon also, if you are with an adult that has an apprentice license?

If you are the supervising hunter you can not carry a weapon or kill a deer youth apprentice.

Ooops, that is not what I read. Here's what I got from ODNR:

Can the Accompanying Adult Hunt? Yes, if properly licensed, except during any season desginated as a Youth Season

Also during a Youth hunt the adult must stay with the youth at their side and under their control.

I thought with apprentice license you had to be at the persons side the entire time no matter what?

Apprentice Hunting License or Fur Taker Permit holders MUST be accompanied by a licensed hunter or fur taker age 21 or older. Accompany means to go along with another person while staying within a distance from the person that enables uninterrupted, unaided visual and auditory communication.
