Part of my man cave project was having shelves built against the wall to house a majority of my hunting and fishing gear, along with some tools. Got a wild hair up my ass and decided I needed somewhere to be able to hang my clothes in order to smoke them. So me and my BIL Moonlab came up with this idea. Turned out that it worked great. Drilled 3 holes for 1 inch x 4 foot dowel rods on the 2x4's on the ends of the shelves. Screwed them into the vertical 2x4's. The middle 2x4 I drilled 6 holes in order to offset the dowel rods. Laid my hunting gear over them, lit the smoker and let it go. Drank some beer while the garage filled up with smoke.
