Homemade weed/brush killer?

Came across a mixture of vinegar/dawn soap/salt. Mix it and spray any area you need weeds/brush controlled. Has anyone here tried this it seems to be cheaper than buying a concentrate. I was wanting to use it on some paths I use to get to treestands and cameras. Field full of weeds 4-6ft tall. Any thoughts on this? I was planning on using a backpack sprayer.

It's not roundup but it works.
1 gallon vinegar
1/4 cup dish soap
2 cups Epsom salt
I found that it works best on grasses.

I've tried similar with less than desirable results. I just buy good old glyphosphate.

I've tried it also after seeing it on a back to nature TV Garden Show. So-So results. Not sure if I want the vinegar smell in the deer woods. Then walk through it and transfer the smell on your boots. Thoughts?

Sounds like you will have clean weeds that taste like "fair fries"
