This morning I got up around 0600 and did my morning cardio work out wiht 14 mile mountain bike ride. About 30 minutes into the work out I realized that this is my last week wearing a uniform.
Friday the 15th is my last day at work (I'm leaving early too), Saturday the 16th is my retirement ceremony, and I'll be on terminal leave until 1 November.
I have to admit that after 28 years it is very conflicting to think that it's over. On one hand your sad because I enjoyed my career and will miss it. However, on the other I'm happy because I'm ready to move on and enjoy a diffferent life.
