Smoke Phase Bird?

Looks to me like someone shot somebody's pet. 30lbs w/ 7.5" beard and 3/4" spurs, champion caller with his first bird, bird came in from 700 yards... hmmmmm something doesn't add up :smiley_blackeye: Gotta love the people from my home state.

Hmm I would have to see it myself to believe the whole story.
A turkey calling contest winner who never hunted turkeys. Where were these calling contest in the 1st grade?

LOL it sure could have been a penned one being that big. Called with his mouth, no calls.....LOL maybe that's how he would feed them in the barn yard LOL

yea id say this was a pet or a hybrid. I typically only use a box call mouth noises and on very rare occasions a slat call.
