My First Buck With A Bow

Well needless to say the past 6 weeks were unreal! I was able to harvest 3 deer in an Urban area not far from home. In this patricular area you must harvest 2 does before you can try for a buck. The first doe was taken on Dec 15th with my sons Parker Crossbow (had to break it in for him) and the other on Jan 19th with my Hoyt Vetrix and Rage 2 Blade Broadheads.
Fast forward to this past Friday Jan 24th - I was in the woods and up my tree (never sat this set) by 3:00pm - weather in NE Ohio has been terriable to say the least single digits and below zero with the wind. The woods were dead still untill the first 3 does at 5:03pm they feed around for 10 minutes and on they went. All does untill over my left, 4 deer show up. The second in line with this 2.5yr old 8pt. A short prayer and a 42yrd shot later 5:49pm I had my first buck with a bow. I have no words to finish this story....................
