Nice job. I still remember my 1st hunting knife. A case sheath knife I bought on my 1st trip to Co in 1968. I gave it to my oldest grandson when he got his 1st deer and I was with him. Good memories.

This is pretty cool. I think if I started this project a week ago, right now I would have a car spring with a knife drawn on it and that's about it.

The #4 pic in the first post looks like a home made jig for removing lots of material. I've made a few knives and that looks like something I like to add to my work bench. Is it a course file attached to a steel rod? I see where the angle can be changed as needed. Cool stuff. My brother in law and I use to meet every thursday night at his shop and make knives. By seeing this, you have sparked my interest again, I may give him a call. Be sure to post a pic of the finished knife.
