Custom truck builder and fleet owner Bill Hall, Jr., died Thursday, Oct. 10, after being struck while riding his motorcycle by his wife’s Cadillac Escalade, according to reports from Hall’s hometown, San Antonio.

Authorities charged Hall’s wife Frances with murder this weekend. A report from San Antonio’s KSAT says Bill Hall was riding his Harley-Davidson and his girlfriend was driving nearby in a Range Rover. Frances chased them down in her Escalade and rammed the Range Rover and then struck Bill’s motorcycle.

The report also says she did not stop to help Bill but instead continued to chase the girlfriend in her Range Rover.

Hall owns Bill Hall Jr. Trucking in San Antonio. The 130-truck fleet hauls mostly aggregates and construction materials with belly dumps and end dumps.

Hall was a third-generation trucker and was a perennial competitor at the Great American Trucking Show Pride & Polish.

Hall’s funeral will take place Friday, Oct. 18, at the Porter Loring funeral home in San Antonio.

A report from San Antonio’s KenS 5 says a convoy of semi-trucks and motorcycles will escort Hall from the funeral home to the cemetery.

Below are three of Hall’s show trucks shown in recent years. Click any of them to read the full stories on the trucks.

Truer words were never spoken and such is the case with this situation. I certainly hope she gets the death penalty, especially since it's in Texas.

Man October is a long time to wait. Are they going to have him take that stand before they bury him?
