COOLEST Hero Shot I Have Seen!

This is the coolest Hero Shot I have ever seen. This is my good friend Jim Irvin from Carbon Synergy. He has been using our bear attractants all season in WI. He has been hunting black bears from the ground in a ghillie suit the last couple of years. This bear was a close as 3 yards from him at one point.

That is cool. I'm looking forward to doing a little of that on deer this season....you all can keep the bears.

To me, the only acceptable way of being on the ground 3 ft from a bear is
1) if I possess the capability to put a lot of lead into him in a very short period of time - pref a Claymore mine on the other side of a stout 36" diameter tree
2) the bear is deaf, dumb, and blind, and has a prosthetic nose, and walks with a cane
3) I'm in a zoo
4) A carbon arrow, even with a SlickTrick, is not acceptable. (but that's me)

I'd classify that as Extreme Hunting! Congrats to your friend
