It seems like every time I get up to my bait piles and see that my corn is all gone, I get excited. Then when I pull my trail camera card, I can sit there and honestly count about 25-30 of them robbing my pile. So I built 2 gravity feeders thinking it would help. Well I found out last night that I was wrong. They can still manage to get in there too. My gravity feeder is a 5 ft. section on 4" pvc with a 45 Y at the bottom. Does anyone have any ideas on how I can get rid of these things. Or at least cut down on there #s.

We box trapped them. For some reason, they always made it in to the box trap alive, but never back out.

I shoved a empty 40 oz. beer can down my PVC tube. It helped restrict the flow a little so my corn last a little longer.
The beer was good TOO.

I trap the darn things for a while each summer
Yes i am alowed to , as we have crop damage permits

Dog Proof traps
But box traps work and leg holds also

IMO if you have a coon problem

I would never say anything
But do what needs to be done

The earlyer in the year the better

Marshmellows work wonders as a bait
