No contest, shelled corn all the way, camera went dead so I didn't get see what happened when the shelled corn was gone if they ate the stalks, didn't look like it when I checked the cam today.

Interesting experiment BB. I would rather feed ear corn for the longevity, but have never put out whole stalks. One thing is for sure, shelled corn is deer crack!

Golden acorns all the way!! LOL! I remember my uncle swearing one day that deer never eat corn off the ears of standing corn. The very next day I watched a nice young buck standing for an hour going from stalk to stalk working on them :smiley_crocodile:

I've watch 3 squirrels in all my years haul a full ear of corn through the woods while hunting. Twice while bowhunting and once just this past turkey season. They're funny to watch, twice they carried the ear up the tree to sit and eat it then leave it up there for snacking on later. Lol
