I'm amazed at how big he was at a 1.5 year old. I'm guilty of not letting em walk tho, if he looks like he needs shot. Ill shoot em.

Seems like I have seen this before. Thanks for sharing though. Well worth another watch. What a stud of a deer!
I believe that as more and more hunters learn to age a buck on the hoof we will see more big antlered bucks like this one. But just as important we will see more 4 1/2 year old and older bucks shot even if they have small antlers. As they said in the article "Its all about the antlers" these older bucks are trophy aged bucks and we should be proud of shooting them regardless of what they have on their head!!
