No longer will I be buying corn at TSC at $12 for 40 pounds, the local seed store has shelled corn 100 pound bags for $15 so I picked up 200 pounds. I also got the hook up on apples, I asked the neighbor down the street if I could pick the apples out of his old mans yard and he said I could even pick them out of the tree TOO! I got a 50 pound bag and put them in the freezer, gonna pick more tomorrow!

I pay $14 for 75+ pounds at our feed mill, but usually have a better connection once harvest time rolls around. My apple connection is pretty solid right now. Next thing I need is a truck bed full of ear corn...

If I lay shelled corn in the woods 30 yards from a cornfield will the deer prefer that over ripe corn because it is already off the cob?
