Thanks for sharing Jim. Pretty cool to watch. I didn't have the sound on so I don't know if there was any dialogue to go with it. I was listening to the news and watching this. Just dang cool. Dad had a hatchet just like it. Probably still does. I think if it were me and I spent that much time on it I would have gone ahead and done a high polish on the metal end. Wouldn't have taken much more time or effort.

I got one I grabbed from my grandmother's shed after she passed away that could use the same exact job done to it. Wish I was handy like that.

I am with bh1023. Lots of satisfaction in his workmanship must be it. Can't be real profitable. Definitely a bit of an art though for those who can restore things or build things.
