From the local Dodge dealer. There was a lot of this happening a few years ago but hadn't heard much lately.

They run better without the converters anyways. I can't beleave people have the balls to do that stuff. We have had a lot of scrap taken from our gravel pits lately too.
I've heard where they're go into a parking lot, looking like grounds crew or something. One guy drives his truck around while the other is underneath autos cutting away.

Wow, that sucks. Last converter I had replaced was about $400 if I remember. Good thing was I didn't have to pay for it as it was under warranty still

The dealer was on the news tonight claiming the damage was $250,000 or over $6000 per truck:smiley_confused_vra

You and me both Sam. The $400 converter I had replaced was dealership cost so 6k for a deisel is really STREACHIN it a bit I think lol.
